After a 37-year career at the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Jack Tymann retired as President -Westinghouse International. While at Westinghouse, Jack’s team built a track record of success in business development worldwide. From 1992 through 1997, he resided in London as President of the Westinghouse/CBS Overseas Corporation; responsible for Westinghouse business development outside the US; including offices in 26 countries and business development in 75 nations; including lead responsibility for international customer, corporate, and government relationships, strategic investments, acquisitions, JVs, and various business partnerships for Westinghouse.
As a senior executive of Westinghouse Corporation, Jack participated in periodic strategic reviews of all businesses, including (from its creation) Westinghouse Community Development Corporation (WCI Communities), the developer of several successful and innovative master planned communities, combining development of residential homes, commercial retail and office, and hotel developments in close coordination with neighborhood, municipal, state, environmental and other government authorities.
Jack also co-founded and is Managing Director of Naples Strategic Business Partners, LLC, focused on investments in distressed real estate in Florida.
Currently Jack is a guest commentator for the Naples Daily News, a frequent lecturer throughout SW Florida, and weekly guest on Naples WGUF FM Talk Radio. A registered professional engineer, Jack received his BSEE from Manhattan College – and has completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He has also completed international studies at the Brookings Institute and at INSEAD in France. |
